da Vinci robot surgeries are an excellent option for many gynecological surgeries including hysterectomy (removal of uterus), myomectomy (removal of fibroid tumor),and sacrocolpopexy(Repairing prolapse of female organs)  

Laparoscopic surgeries with da Vinci robot have many advantages for patients, such as much less blood loss, faster and more comfortable recovery, and only 4 small puncture scars.  Many patients go home the same day of surgery and back to work within a couple of weeks.

Dr. Kim was the first gynecologist to perform robot surgeries in Fresno area in 2007, the first gynecologist to perform the laparoscopic total hysterectomy in 2002.
